Sometimes it is best to just tell the whole truth….as so here it is…today found me heavy-hearted after some sad news about the loss of one of my sons friends. In my line of work I do not have the ability to decide that I might not be up to the task so I have to move on and do my job..even on days where happiness is hard to find in my mood or when emotions are on high alert.
I didn’t have to look hard for reasons to overcome my heavy heart though….I never mentioned this to my beautiful bride and groom today but being with them on this most special day allowed me to be blessed and remember that we should cherish and be thankful of the simple things..things found on a wedding day….like love, life, happiness, and cherishing the special moments, thank God! All these feeling and emotions were plentiful at this event.
We had the pleasure of playing around the grounds of a beautiful antebellum house filled deep with Birmingham’s history. http://www.birminghamal.gov/arlington/index.htm this is in my opinion one of the treasures of our city not often explored. The place is in 1 word GORGEOUS! Huge thanks to Jill and Joshua for allowing me to photograph your stunning wedding day and I cherish the memories of this day spent with you both.
