Amber and Nic tie the knot! Alabama photographer

Mobile quickly soared the charts of my favorite places to photograph! I never realized how beautiful it is and how old everything is. When I saw the church for the first time I got huge tears in my eyes it was so beautiful….later when lighting struck the church during the ceremony I realized it’s power! hahaaha Made for an eventful little ceremony for sure!
Nic and Amber had so many beautiful things to cover during their day I had a hard time keeping up with all the beautiful people, the settings and the reception site Mobile Conference Center was jaw dropping beautiful with how the had it decorated! I truly enjoyed my weekend at work here and look forward to getting you your beautiful

images!!

Dorgan’s Inn wedding..fairhope al…

Not even sure how to start this epic post..so I will start out with a huge thank you to the Crocker family for being so kind to me over the last 3 years. I have had the pleasure of photographing their family several times and I am proud to be on their short list of favorite photographers. Each and every member of this family is dear to me, and I thank them for always being kind, caring and saying the nicest things to me. I enjoyed catching up on the aunts, uncles, and cousins that I have had the pleasure of meeting and working for as well!
So without further rambling, sadly May 15th brings the end of the weddings in the family but seeing that a cousin, whose sisters wedding I was fortunate to be the photographer for….maybe just maybe I’ll be busy sometime next year if the bouquet toss ju-ju works out.:)
I must also say that this venue was off the charts amazing. Dorgan’s Inn in Fairhope Alabama is most certainly the best venue I have ever worked at. The staff is amazing, the grounds are completely unbelievable and I feel certain I could work there 100 times and never shoot the same thing or in the same place…the possibilities are quite literally endless! Mike and Dionne…OH and Tanner and Emma too!

So I have the absolute pleasure of getting to create images for my friends Mike and Dionne. Some find it a bit hard to work with friends..you know the whole if it’s gonna go wrong it usually happens with friends or family, but thank goodness I try to give Mike a hard enough time that he wonders if we are friends sometimes.. so maybe that helps…or maybe it’s that Dionne thought she was as nervous as I was..but she wasn’t. My only regret is that I had to show them my dog barking tricks and what a goof ball you truly have to be to get folks to forget they are being photographed! But I hope they forget quickly….or at least not make fun of me next time we hang out…right MIKE????:)
This September has a few weekends I am looking forward too, but getting to party and work at their event is definitely at the top!:)See you guys soon!
Ps. If anyone needs Tanner to model just contact me I will be his agent! HE LOVES the model!

Karson…multi talented 1 year old!!

Ok so animal tricks are cute, stupid people tricks pretty funny, but a baby that does the superman, touchdown, squats if you say “Poot” and the stanky leg is down right HILARIOUS!! I laughed so hard during this session my stomach hurt!
Besides that it is just fun photographing these baby’s 1st birthday..now the 2 year mark is a bit different! haha
Thanks for sticking with me during this busy season to get this session in the Karson history books! We got plenty to really get him good in his teen years!:)

Lisa, these are amazing and like you said it seems like just yesterday I was looking at his big sisters pictures. these are absolutley wonderful pictures. They are bitter sweet for me also because our (Gail Morris) and myself as well little baby boys are growing up. It just seems like yesterday morning I was at her house with the two of them laying on her floor trying to lift theit little heads up and of course I have those pictures as well.. Im so proud to call alex my cousin/His fav Aunt…Lol Youve come along way boy and keep up the hard work and keep making Mom and Dad happy. Your photos are so great and I cant wait to have Tanners done by Lisa, she really brings the real personality out of you guys they are not posed and fake looking at all like the ones we had done by the school. BIG MISTAKE… Gail said her work was great and now I truely know thats true because your pictures captured the true Alex in my eyes you dont look like you were trying to have pitures taken you look so natural.. I love them Alex and Iam so proud of the young man you have become… I love you, AUNT STACIE
